The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Former two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
